La Paz Electric, Inc. is a multigenerational, family-owned and operated business that was founded in 1979 by Danny Montijo, Sr. and today is owned and operated by husband and wife, Danny Montijo Jr. and Kristy Montijo. Learning the ins and outs of residential and commercial electrical work at an early age, Danny Montijo Jr. jumped into his father’s business head-first, immediately after high school. In 2003, company co-owner Kristy Montijo accepted the responsibility of managing the company’s books. Along with the occasional help from the family’s three children, Kristy keeps the day-to-day operations of this truly family-owned and operated business under control behind the scenes.
